We enjoyed staying in your lovely cottage. Everything we needed was there. Most of the days we spend with our English family, who is living in this area. So good to see them all again.
Made some lovely trips to Whitsand Bay, Looe, Plymouth. The Cornish coast is so beautiful.

A spacious, well equipped cottage. Really peaceful and quiet with well kept grounds. The surrounding area is beautiful and unspoilt as it is off the usual tourist trail. Well worth a visit!

Schönes und modern und liebevoll eingerichtetes Cottage mit allem was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Sehr gutes W-LAN und freundliche Vermieter. Schöne Strände in der Nähe, nicht weit bis Plymouth. Verschiedene schöne Küstenorte wie Fowey und Looe in der Nähe.

Tawny Cottage
We have recently got back from a really lovely holiday at Tawny cottage. This was our second stay here and it was just as perfect as our first stay. We always said we would love to return and we did. Both our daughters Heidi and Poppy loved it too. Poppy keeps saying can we go back to Tawny. Mike and Tine are the perfect hosts and on hand for anything you need. I cannot recommend staying here enough it really is perfect. Thank you again for such a wonderful stay in your beautiful cottage.
Tawny Cottage is a proper little home from home with everything you need! Mike and Tine were on hand for immediate check in with a very warm welcome. Perfect suntrap garden to the side, everything was very clean and tidy and well maintained. Thank you so much, we really enjoyed our stay!
Tawny Cottage
The three of us (from Germany) spent two months at Tawny Cottage in May and June 2022. The cottage is cozy and has everything one could wish for. We were a bit worried beforehand about the possible noise from the road, but that turned out to be no problem. The landlords Mike and Tine are very friendly and helpful, everything is well organized, and we had a great time.
The Rame peninsula is simply wonderful, with lots of things one can do. We particularly enjoyed the walks along the coast, the beaches, and the view from the pub in Downderry. I wish we could come every year...

Sehr gemütliches Ferienhäuschen. Freundliche Gastgeber, gut ausgestattete Küche, sehr gepflegte Gartenanlage. Etwas abgelegen, aber der wundervolle Küstenfahrt ist nach kurzer Autofahrt erreichbar. Nur für den Osten von Cornwall gut gelegen.

We have had a wonderful week in Cornwall and the cottage has been great. Our boys loved the crabbing and harbour in Looe. Had the best chips by the harbour in Plymouth. The cottage is well equipped and safe for our boys (4,8yrs) to play outside. Thank you for helping to create some lovely memories in your cottage - we will be back :)

East Cornwall is an area we know well and we return on a regular basis to see friends and relations - Covid permitting! We have stayed at self catering accommodations elsewhere but staying at Glebe Barn is our happiest experience. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and feels like home - it's a pleasure to be here. Tine and Mike are superb hosts and always willing to help. We have been here before and will be here again in the future.

Really appreciated how the owners engaged on the subject of COVID. The cottage was spotless and very well equipped. We explored the coast and beaches on foot and on bikes, enjoying the lack of crowds. Great kayaking at Cawsand and recommend fresh pasties from CornishPod bakery.

Tawny cottage was lovely. My wife and 2 small children had a fantastic New Year and the cottage provided is with the perfect base in which to do so. The cottage had everything we needed for our 3 night stay, as well as being immaculately clean. Mike and Tine were wonderful hosts and very attentive to our family needs. Das Cottage ist schöne eingerichtet, sehr sauber, sehr zum Wohlfühlen. Es ist tiptop ausgestattet, sogar mit Waschmaschine und Bügeleisen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt, man muss halt immer mit dem Auto fahren. Man ist schnell an wunderschönen Stränden. Hinter dem Haus ist eine Straße, aber sie hat dann doch weniger gestört als wir erst dachten. Wir hatten eine schöne Woche mit vielen Ausflügen und haben uns in dem schönen Cottage sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt.

An immaculately presented, tastefully furnished, extremely well-equipped, homely cottage. It is in the countryside near houses of historic interest and many inspirational gardens as well as being near to lovely sandy coves and beaches. The owners are very friendly and helpful.
Well equipped cottage with wonderful hosts: Mike an Tine are Perfect hosts. The area of Sheviock and Rame peninsula are a perfect retreat from the crowded Cornwall spots. The welcoming was super nice with homemade scones which made us relax after a long journey.

Cottage full of charm: The 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay in the 2 bedroom cottage. We found it a good base for our first visit to Cornwall. Cottage is well equipped, comfortable and cosy.

Compact, but immaculate. Very clean and tidy. Best small cottage we have stayed in around Cornwall: We found the cottage in a lovely location surrounded by woodland. Close to Plymouth, Looe, Polperro and the beach at either Whitsand Bay or Cawsand is only 3 miles away. Eden project is not too far away either. Torpoint ferry only 5 miles away. The weather was good for us for the rest of the week after a night of rain. Tawny Cottage is like a home away from home, ideal for a couple or small family. We hope that we will be able to stay again should our holiday dates be available. Definitely recommend the cottage as one of the best we have ever stayed in.
Fantastic stay at Tawny Holiday Cottage - Mike and Tine were great hosts, Holiday Cottage was immaculate, and they even got out some bath toys for our 7 month old to borrow in the bath! Holiday Cottage itself is cosy, quiet and has all the amenities you need for a long stay. Great location to explore Cornwall, with easy driving distance of the quaint fishing towns of Looe and Fowey, as well as Bodmin and the Eden Project. Thoroughly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and lovely holiday Holiday Cottage to see Cornwall.
